Yesterday we ended our reading year with a grand Roman Feast inspired by Mark of the Thief by Jennifer Nielsen.
Now because I’m never boring we could not just have a regular middle school snacks, so we feasted on pita, olives, eggs, honey, feta cheese, cucumbers and grapes. Oh and we had some almonds and olive oil as well.
We also had some Hawaiian bread come in, do you think King’s Hawaiian bread counts as Roman?
And because you can’t have a proper Roman feast without a few togas, here you go…
